Batman: Arkham Asylum is getting high ratings from all major gaming sites and its gotten to “universal acclaim at MetaCritic.

The newest video from the game Batman: Arkham Asylum showcases some pretty rad gadgets Batman uses to get away from enemies, fight, and doing other crazy stuff with.

You can see these gadgets in action when the game comes out on August 25 and September for PC.

Batman: Arkham Asylum demo is now available for download and the full will be released near the end of this month and the PC version in September.

The game opens with Batman along with Commissioner Gordon bringing The Joker back to Arkham Asylum. But things don’t go as plan and The Joker gets away and releases the jailed villians out of their cells. Get a quick taste of the Freeflow combat and the stealth system as you battle your way through Arkham Asylum.

You gotta hate game exclusives when you’re at the other end of the stick. PS3 owners will get to play as the Joker which is only for the Playstation 3 for now anyways. Xbox owners all over the world are crying, so for all you PS3 owners enjoy the video and think about the poor Xbox 360 owners if you can.

First look at Poison Ivy and guess what she’s a very bad girl and needs to be spanked. Poison Ivy gets sucked up by her gigantic piranha plant and looks like she merges with the plant with the intentions of killing Batman.

If you’re not already excited already excited about Batman Arkham Ayslum game than you just might change your mind after looking at the FreeFlow combat trailer below. Rocksteady seems to be putting a lot of nice attention to details on combat system which looks awesome.

Batman: Arkham Asylum will not be coming out on June 23, 2009 as originally scheduled. According to a report over at Game Informer the game was delayed till nearly the end of the year. But Edios has said that the game will be coming out sometime at the end of summer 2009 but no official date has been confirmed.

Edios along with Warner Bros. just released a new Batman Arkham Asylum trailer which focuses on combat. The combat trailer shows Batman using what is dubbed “Free Flow” combat system and stringing combos together with ease to battle a large number of different Joker goons in action packed brawls.

Wanna play Arkham Asylum on your PC? Of coarse you do, who wouldn’t. That’s unless you to play your games on consoles instead but this post is for all you PC guys. These are the PC system requirements that Edios recommend for playing Batman Arkham Asylum.

Minimum PC Requirements:

• CPU: Intel single core 3 Ghz or AMD equivalent
• Memory: XP = 1 GB, Vista = 2GB
• GPU: Shader Model 3 NVidia 6600 or ATI 1300 or higher

Recommended PC Requirements:

• CPU: Pentium D 3Ghz or AMD Athlon 64 X2 3800+ (Dual core)

Eidos and Warner Bros revealed that you can play as the Joker on the PS3 version Batman Arkham Asylum. But the Joker won’t be playable in the regular campaign mode, the Joker will be only playable on the Challenge Maps mode. This will be a free downloadable content when the game comes out.

So its a good thing if you own a PS3 but not for Xbox 360 owners cause there’s no word on any DLC for the 360 or the PC.
